OUR PURPOSE:

Love N Care is a non-profit, non-denominational ministry of BridgePoint Church. Established in 1977 as Love 'n Care Nursery School, the purpose has always been to provide a quality, Christian preschool experience. In the spring of 2017, a temporary location at Smith Road School gave us the opportunity to expand our vision for the future, and we are now licensed with the State of Michigan as Love N Care Early Learning Center.

While we are getting closer to seeing ground break at our church property, with the decision by Bedford School to reopen Smith Road Elementary, we will need a temporary location in the interim.  We will begin the licensing process at the BridgePoint Summerfield Road location (11100 Summerfield Road - between Samaria and Rauch).  This will give us plenty of time to be licensed and ready to go at the beginning of September.  The Summerfield Road location provides us with wonderful space including a gross motor room, large choice time area, and we will add a fenced playground.  There is also the great advantage with having all of our ministries under one roof.  Love N Care will continue to provide its same quality curriculum, educators and love for children that makes us who we have been for the last 40 plus years. We hope you will consider continuing your child’s preschool experience with us at our new temporary location. We are excited about our future and the plans to open our new facility on Lewis Ave. in the spring of 2020.

At Love N Care we provide learning opportunities to build a sound foundation of cognitive, physical, social-emotional, language and spiritual development for children 2 years old to six years old in a secure, positive and loving environment. Through half-day and extended-day programs, children are exposed to developmentally appropriate language, reading, math and science concepts as well as music, art and Bible Stories through play.

The foundation of all we do is The Creative Curriculum for Preschool and The Creative Creative Curriculum  for Infant and Toddlers. The Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills. It is designed to help educators at all levels of experience plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, content-rich program for children with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.

Teaching Strategies Gold is a comprehensive, research-based assessment system that supports effective teaching and children's development and learning based on the 38 objectives. Through these tools and continuous training and educational opportunities, teachers provide a solid base of learning to help children begin a positive educational journey.

OUR STAFF:

The Love N Care staff is made up of people who have a heart for children. Each one is committed to providing a preschool experience that makes a difference in the lives of children and their families. With many years of combined experience in Early Childhood education, they continue to learn and grow through ongoing training and educational opportunities.  All staff members are certified in First Aid and CPR.
